NBAA’s 2013 Journalism Award Presented to Molly McMillin

Las Vegas, NV – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) presented its 2013 Gold Wing Award for Journalism Excellence this morning during the Media Kickoff Breakfast of the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA2013), being held this week from Oct. 22 to 24 in Las Vegas, NV.

The 2013 award was presented to Wichita Eagle reporter Molly McMillin for her story titled “Corporate Planes Give Business Owners an Edge,” published on Dec. 13, 2012.

McMillin’s story helped put forward the true face of business aviation. It also described the stress that the recession and Washington rhetoric has put on the companies of all sizes trying to use business aviation to survive and compete in an unforgiving economy and global marketplace.
