Parrish, Trautvetter, Wilson Honored with NBAA’s 2001 Journalism Awards

Washington, DC – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) presented its journalism awards this morning during its Kickoff Media Breakfast on the opening day of the NBAA 54th Annual Meeting & Convention in New Orleans. Bob Parrish received the 2001 Platinum Wing Award, which recognizes excellence and lifetime achievement in journalism. Chad Trautvetter and Cynthia Wilson both received Gold Wing Awards, which are presented annually for excellent, accurate and insightful reporting of issues related to the business aviation industry.

Parrish, a noted aviation journalist, was with Business and Commercial Aviation Magazine for nearly 15 years, specializing in helicopter, powerplant and maintenance issues. Trautvetter of Aviation International News received the Gold Wing Award in the aviation trade category, while Wilson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch received the award in the non-trade category for her article on the business aviation industry.
