Video: Let Your Future Take Flight at the 2018 NBAA Careers in Business Aviation Day

NBAA recognizes the value in exposing students to the business aviation industry and inspiring them to pursue successful and rewarding aviation careers. Middle school, high school and college students, as well as their school’s faculty and chaperones, are invited to a day of student-focused programming and opportunities at the 2018 NBAA Careers in Business Aviation Day. First-Time Attendee Session at NBAA-BACE Aims to Optimize Show

NBAA-BACE first-time attendees will have an opportunity to take part in an orientation session on Oct. 15, which will provide a chance to learn how to make the most out of their show experience. “NBAA-BACE offers so much in the way of exhibitors, education sessions, static displays and more that it can be a bit overwhelming for first-timers,” said Courtney Oliveira, NBAA senior manager, event marketing. “Our goal for the session is to make the experience easier and more efficient for first-time attendees.” Read more.

NBAA to Honor VanAllen Group Founder Pete Agur With Doswell Award at NBAA-BACE

At NBAA-BACE, the association will present the John P. “Jack” Doswell Award to Pete Agur in recognition of his lifelong achievement on behalf of and in support of business aviation. Agur is the chairman and founder of The VanAllen Group, an aviation management consultancy. “NBAA and the business aviation community are indebted to Pete for his lifelong dedication to the safety and growth of business aviation,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.
