A recent study commissioned by seven general aviation groups, including NBAA, again proved the industry’s importance to the nation’s economy and transportation system. Conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the study found that general aviation supports 1.2 million jobs and more than $246 billion in total economic output. “The industry is everywhere,” noted John Lieber, principal, National Economics and Statistics Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
