A prior permission required (PPR) program is being implemented Oct. 9 at 0900 local time (1600Z) until 2200 local time on Oct. 10 (Oct. 11 0500Z) at Henderson Executive Airport (HND) to accommodate the increased demand for airport parking and services ahead of the 2021 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE).

Aircraft operators not permanently based at HND must obtain a PPR number from the airport for each landing on these two days to have full operational use of the airport’s runway, taxiway, apron, facilities and services.
Operators landing at HND without authorized access will be charged a $1,000 service fee, and their aircraft may be positioned in a remote location on the airfield.

PPR approval and confirmation numbers can be obtained from HND Airfield Operations, which can be contacted directly at 702-261-4858. PPR confirmation numbers must be entered in the remarks section of each flight plan.
Parking and services will be extremely limited during this period in preparation for NBAA-BACE – which is being held Oct. 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and HND – and to accommodate two major sporting events.

“Due to overlapping events, it is crucial that operators adhere to the PPR required for operations into Henderson Executive Airport on Oct. 9 and 10,” said Heidi Williams, NBAA senior director of air traffic services and infrastructure.

PPR requests will be accepted until HND is at capacity, or Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. local time, whichever occurs first.

More details on HND’s PPR can be found at this FAA Notice for Airmen and the Henderson Executive Airport Prior Permission Required (PPR) System PDF, from Henderson Executive’s website.

Any person who attends an NBAA convention, conference, seminar or other program grants permission to NBAA, its employees and agents (collectively "NBAA") to record his or her visual/audio images, including, but not limited to, photographs, digital images, voices, sound or video recordings, audio clips, or accompanying written descriptions, and, without notifying such person, to use his or her name and such images for any purpose of NBAA, including advertisements for NBAA and its programs.
