Podcast: How to Form a Regional Business Aviation Group

July 25, 2022

Just as NBAA works to promote business aviation at the national level, regional business aviation groups play a vital industry advocacy role in their state, city or area. Today, four business aviation professionals share their experiences in launching one of the country’s newest regional groups, including how they handled some of the more challenging steps along the way. “The key to my success in getting a group going,” says NBAA Southeastern Regional Representative Greg Voos, “is finding that initial core group of energy with the stakeholders that have the bandwidth [to start a regional group] because it’s not a small task.”

In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:

  • David Keys, president, Central Florida Business Aviation Association (CFBAA) and chief pilot, Peace River Citrus Products
  • Matthew Olafsen, vice president, CFBAA
  • Jenny Showalter, secretary, CBFAA and chief motivational officer, Showalter Business Aviation Career Coaching
  • Greg Voos, NBAA Southeastern regional representative
