As many as 3 million people from around the world are expected to head to Doha, Qatar next month for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Many of them will travel aboard business aircraft, so operators need to be mindful of the strict travel procedures throughout the region. “It’s crucial [that] operators, crew, brokers and trip support companies explain to passengers and their clients exactly what the restrictions are and exactly what the penalties are,” emphasizes Gama Aviation’s Tom Murphy, “so there’s absolute clarity on the risks.”
