John King

John King was a founding shareholder of Solairus Aviation and served as the Chief Financial Officer for two years before being appointed President in 2011. In that role, he oversees the management team, directing sales, marketing, and operations and directs the implementation of strategic business and operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.

Prior to joining Solairus, King worked in the worlds of investment banking and technology. In the investment banking practice, he provided client companies general business and strategy consulting services with an emphasis on business development, value creation, intellectual property commercialization along with consulting on M&A transactions.

Previously King was a founder and President of PSW3, a systems development and integration firm with areas of specialization in electronic payments and command and control systems for public safety agencies. In 1989, he consummated the sale of PSW3’s public safety division to Tiburon, Inc. and stayed on as President of PSW3’s financial services division.

King has served on multiple non-profit boards, most recently the National Air Transportation Association and that organization’s board finance committee. His undergraduate degree in computer science is from the University of San Francisco.
