NBAA’s Operations team answers some common questions about operating business aircraft, including how to comply with the FAA’s recently implemented Pilot Records Database requirements. One of the most frequent concerns stems from the requirement to provide records dating back more than a decade. “I’ve heard from the FAA on this one,” notes NBAA’s Brian Koester, CAM “They’re not looking to pursue certificate action … They’re looking for folks to make a good faith effort to put in the records they have, and certainly put in any information you have.”
In this episode of NBAA’s “Flight Plan,” host Rob Finfrock speaks with:
- Brian Koester, NBAA director of flight operations and regulations
- Cameron Smith, NBAA aviation operations specialist
- Noah Yarborough, NBAA aviation operations manager and staff liaison to NBAA’s Domestic Operations Committee
