The Access Committee focuses on access to the National Airspace System (NAS) and engages in political and regulatory processes at the federal, state, and local levels that affect general and business aviation.

Destination Statement

  • Advocate for and protect airports and ground infrastructure on behalf of general and business aviation
  • Champion and promote the value of airports and infrastructure to Congress, federal, state and local policymakers to emphasize the importance of business aviation’s access to airports and airspace
  • Support NBAA’s efforts and strategy in outreach to airport community roundtables and community groups
  • Collaboratively work with FAA and airport sponsors on regulatory policies impacting airport and infrastructure access for general and business aviation
  • Promote NBAA Noise Abatement Procedures, Fly Neighborly initiatives and other voluntary programs and best practices
  • Educate NBAA members on current airport and airspace access concerns and best practices to address these concerns
