Judy Reif, the new chair of the NBAA Weather Subcommittee, stresses the need for everyone on the aircraft – from the pilot to the flight attendants – to know what to expect weather-wise during a flight. “We want to keep everyone safe,” said Reif, a contract flight attendant with Aircraft Setup Services. “Having the appropriate weather information and turbulence information and relaying that to [passengers] is vital to keep them and us safe.” In this week’s NBAA Flight Plan podcast, Reif and others talk about the best way to disseminate aviation weather and the need to hear from NBAA members about their needs in this area.
