San Diego, CA, April 5, 2022 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will present longtime business aviation scheduler Francea Bolden, CAM, with the Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Outstanding Achievement and Leadership Award at the 2022 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC2022), taking place April 5-7 in San Diego, CA.

Bolden began her aviation career in 2005 as a scheduler at Enterprise Holdings, and in 2009 was promoted to senior scheduler. In 2014 she was promoted to her current position of scheduling manager, where she is responsible for overseeing the scheduling process for three aircraft.

In 2007, Bolden was recognized by NBAA for her achievement in the NBAA Schedulers Professional Development Program. As an offshoot of NBAA’s main Professional Development Program (PDP), the Schedulers Professional Development Program was created to help advance the training and career track of business aviation professionals.

Bolden obtained her FAA licensed dispatcher certification in 2011, and earned her NBAA Certified  Aviation Manager (CAM) certification in 2020. She is a former member of  the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee, founder of St. Louis Area Dispatchers and Schedulers (SLADS) and a frequent presenter at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference.

“I am thrilled that Francea has been recognized with the 2022 recipient of the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Outstanding Achievement and Leadership Award,” said Rick Schwartz, CAM, aviation operations director, Enterprise Holdings, Inc.  “She is a key contributor to the success of Enterprise’s aviation operations, as well as the company. She is an example of a subject matter expert who continuously focuses on our core mission of safety, service and value.

“Francea joined our organization over 16 years ago with no aviation background, and has since become a manager, licensed dispatcher, a CAM and a leader in the S&D local and national community,” Schwartz  added. “It is fitting that her peers have selected her for this honor she so well deserves.”

“I am honored to even be considered for such a prestigious award,” said Bolden. “I’m also extremely grateful and appreciative for every single person that contributed to my personal and professional growth.”

Bolden is the 13th recipient of this award, which was created in 2008 and recognizes individuals who have shared their business aviation industry expertise, provided extraordinary service, exhibited leadership and made significant contributions to the scheduling and dispatching function.

“NBAA is proud to present this award to Francea, who has continually sought out opportunities to further her career and support others in the scheduling and dispatching segment of the business aviation industry,” said NBAA Director, Certification Tyler Austin. “Under her leadership, the flight department at Enterprise Holdings has moved forward, and her generous commitment to the industry elevates those around her.”
