NBAA Charities and the family and friends of Lawrence Ginocchio annually award $4,500 to each of five undergraduate students enrolled at NBAA/University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions.

The Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship was created in 2001 by NBAA Charities and the family and friends of the late Lawrence “Larry” Ginocchio to honor his outstanding personal contribution to the business aviation community. Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and utilize their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others.

Awards will be made to U.S. citizens without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin.

For all NBAA scholarships, applicants are limited to receiving one award per person, per year. Direct all questions about this application to NBAA’s Tyler Austin at 202-783-9267 or scholarships@nbaa.org.
