How Can You Help Preserve Airport Access?

Feb. 24, 2020

America’s general aviation airports bring jobs to local communities, assist in humanitarian efforts and serve as a vital link in our national air transportation system. However, too often airport neighbors and local officials look for ways to limit access or close airports completely. The NBAA Access Committee works to preserve business aviation access to airports across the country, and the committee needs your help. “We must all do our part to help those airports that are seeing challenges, even if we don’t live in the local area,” said Alex Gertsen, NBAA’s director of airports and ground infrastructure.

In this episode of NBAA Flight Plan, host Rob Finfrock speaks with:

  • Jeff Smith, chair of NBAA’s Access Committee
  • Gabe Andino, chair of the Access Committee’s Airport Working Group
  • Alex Gertsen, director of airports and ground infrastructure, NBAA
