Those who work in business aviation seldom have a lot of free time away from their jobs. Nevertheless, it’s important to make time for opportunities that further professional development, as doing so often brings value far exceeding the time spent. “You have ownership of your professional development, no one else does,” notes Caleb Gibson with Textron Aviation. “The company you work for has a vested interest in seeing you succeed, but only you know what your goals will be, and only you can chart the path to reach them.”
