Taxiway Z between Taxiway A and Taxiway Y7 will be closed at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) through June 1 due to the Midfield Taxi Lane B Reconstruction Project.
This taxiway closure will affect ground operations as well as runway utilization due to the bottleneck that is created.
Flight operators that utilize Jet Aviation, or are parking on the Cargo 6 ramp, can expect to use Runway 19C/1C. Flight operators that utilize Signature Flight Support or Dulles Jet Center (DJC) can expect to use Runway 19L/1R.
Operators may see delays if taxiing through the area of construction which is located on the west side of Taxi Lane B. Ground Control will provide instructions on sequencing aircraft through the constrained area.
