Nineteen new RNAV arrival procedures associated with the Cleveland/Detroit Metroplex project were recently published for several Cleveland and Detroit-area airports. However, these procedures will not be implemented until Sept. 13.
A NOTAM has been issued prohibiting the use of the new arrival procedures. The following procedures have been NOTAM’d as: “DO NOT FILE – TO BE ASSIGNED BY ATC ONLY.”

In addition, the Cleveland/Detroit Metroplex project implemented amended instrument approach procedures on May 24 for DTW and CLE. The amendments include the addition of, or changes to, existing RNAV transitions and altitude restrictions related to the use of dual and triple runway operations. Several new required navigation performance approaches were published on May 24.
