As competition for qualified personnel from other aviation industry segments looks to remain strong in 2024, employers continue to review and reconsider their approaches to hiring so they can bring new business aviation professionals into their companies. As one example, “Having a type rating was a strong requirement in the past, [but] not so much now,” notes Clint Cannaday of In-Flight Crew Connections. “A lot of the clients that we deal with are discussing the possibility of even lowering time requirements.”
